I’ve tried this blogging thing in the past – but I just
couldn’t find enough things to talk about. Maybe I didn’t do as much as I
believed I did, maybe I just didn’t have as many “thoughts” that I wanted to
share or felt like were worthy of sharing. Well, I started jotting down my feelings
on being a new mom one day and twenty minutes later I had enough written down
for the first 6 or 7 posts. So here we are.
I’m hoping to use this blog as a place to express myself – it’s surprisingly therapeutic to write down everything I’m feeling instead of keeping it bottled up and only venting to my husband when it all builds up. Why have I never journaled before?!

I’m also hoping that my thoughts might help
another new mom at some point – I felt very alone as a new mom – which is sad
because I have so many friends who are moms and tons of family who are always
willing to offer their help and support. Nevertheless the loneliness was there –
hopefully something that I put out here rings a bell with another person and
they realize they’re not alone in this and that we are all here for each other
and going through the same things.
Right now I feel like being a mom is the center of my
universe so that is probably what most of this blog will be about. However,
hopefully one day soon, I will begin doing normal everyday life things and plan
on blogging about those things as well.
I look forward to hearing from you, if there are any
readers!, and hearing your responses, comments, concerns, and advice that you
can offer to help me through whatever it may be that I’ve posted about.
